Whimsical Winter Table
Cześć!
Welcome in 2026, I didn't write for quite a while bocouse I started to focus more on my you tube channel. I wanted to invite you to check that out to see what I have been doing for the last 2 months.
Today I'm shring 2 recipes for easy sweet treats that I made for my familly - Meringues and Eclairs. To make the whole evening special I created Whimsical Winter Wonderland Tablescape for my Family using the Tree of Life linens.

I made Meringues for the first time and I can honestly say that they're really fast and easy to make. They're great treats for kids, my little ones loved them and they dissapered really quickly.
Meringues are great as the decoration too.

Wash and dry the eggs.
Separate the egg whites from the yokes.
Take the egg whites, add a pinch of salt and start to whip them for about 2- 3 minutes.
Start adding fine sugar spoon by spoon. After adding one spoon mix the eggs for about 1 minute befor you add another spoon.
Ready foam add to the pastry bag.
Prepair you baking tray and line it with parchment paper.
Form your meringues about 2 cm apart.
Set your oven for about 100 C - 212 F on top and bottom setting. Bake them for about 90 minutes and after that leave the oven open and let it cool. It's very important that the Meringues dry out slowly.
As they dry move them onto the crate.

While the meringues were baking I started setting the table. Started with Tree of Life Tablecloth that brings the whimsical atmosphere with forest animals and flowers. Next I moved on to the plcemats that are a great framing for the plates. Layered the table with the various patterns and textures make the table feel more intentional and cared for.

Next were the charger plates that give a nice contrast to my favourite Royal Copenchagen plates. For my centerpiece I used a branches with catkins that I found in my very wintery garden. I put the in my crystal vases that have a pattern that reminds me of snowflakes. I apply ribbons onto the branches for more snowy look.
For ambience I used lanterns with small candles that gives warm and cosy feel.

As the meringues were cooling I started prepairing the Eclairs.

DOUGH RECIPE:
Add water, salt and butter.
Simmer until the butter is complately melted.
Add flour and stir at low heat.
Add eggs - one by one and slowly mix them into the batter.
When it's ready add to the pastry bag and onto the baking tray lined with the parchment paper.
Bake for about 20 minutes at 200 C - 392 F.
CREAM RECIPE:
Whip the cream with sugr, vanilla sugar and cream- fix.
Fill the eclairs with the cream using the pastry bag.

ICING RECIPE:
Melt the butter until it boils.
Mix egg, sugar and cocoa.
Than add the hot butter.
Dip the eclairs into the icing.

Now you have delicious treats for your family and friends!
