Easter Tablescape and Gingerbread Recipe.
Cześć!
I am so happy that the warmer days are finally here, althought while I am writing this post, huge rain started pouring from the sky. But last week was full of sun. I took my free time to wonder through my garden in a search of the first green branches. A few of my finds I took back home to create the beautiful Easter Table.

I started from prepairing our traditional Holiday Dessert - Gingerbread, that's great for any occasion, but we often bake it for Easter.

GINGERBREAD
To prepare your Gingerbread you will need :

Butter, sugar, honey, gingerbread spice and milk mix together and melt - constantly stirring until it boils. Than let it cool. Set your oven to 170C- 340F at the top bottom heat.
Take the Flour, baking soda, baking powder and sift through a strainer. Wash the eggs and separate the egg whites from the yokes. Leave the egg whites in a separate bowl. Add yokes to the flour and mix it together, using a slow setting on whatever food processor you've got.
Add the gingerbread spice batter to the flour - spoon by spoon and gently mix it in. You don't have to wait untill it's complately cold.
Beat the egg whites and slowly add them into the dough.
Apply the ready dough to the baking tray lined with the parchment paper.
Bake for about 40 - 50 minutes untill it passes the toothpick test.
ICING

Mix the butter, cocoa, sugar and cream together in the pot and heat the ingredients until they're fully melted.
You can apply finished icing onto the gingerbread and decorate it with seasonal sweets and edible flowers. Just wait untill the icing is not to hot.
I choose bunnies and eggs since it's Easter.

While I was waiting for the gingerbread to bake I started prepairing my table.
First was a centerpiece using the spiraea branches and catkins that I found in my garden. Spiraea flows beautifully out of my urn and adds a lot of movement to the composition. They are sturdy, that's why they're a great base for my bouquet.

In between them I placed white tulips - I love the subtle white tone with the energizing green - it's a really naturalistic and neutral look.
Than I added green catkins for additional texture. At the end I decided that my bouquet needed something on the bottom, floating down the vase, that's why I added Ivy.

COLOUR PALETTE
For this tablescape I choose my Tulip Tablecloth becouse it looks like Spring, Nigella napkins compose with it's beautifully. I decided to add Tulip Napkins at the head of the table for an unexpected touch. I couldn't forget about the placemats - Bow Placemats are a beautiful frame for my plates.

I continued my green and white palette with the decorations and candles. Pink tones add a feminine touch and the baiges are a classic accent.

DESSERTS
Desserts are a great way to decorate your table. Other than Gingerbread I chose Pound cakes from my local bakery - colorful icing is especially cheerful.
