Charcuterie Board
Hi friends, today I want to take you guys along and show you how I created a Charcuterie Board. To be honest, that's the first time I made one. I found some inspiration online and decided to give it a try. And believe me – it disappeared in an instant. My husband loved it, and I think I’ll be making it often from now on because it’s fast and very easy to prepare.

Start With What You Have
You don’t need a fancy platter. Use a wooden cutting board, a marble slab, or even your favorite decorative tray. I used my ceramic platter since I didn’t have a tray this big, but I highly recommend a flat dish because it’s easier to arrange and your ingredients won’t slide down the sides. Lay down one of your Ana Victoria Home linens underneath — a napkin, placemat, or even part of a tablecloth — just to soften the look and bring in color.
Mix Textures & Flavors
I found that a great board has contrast: creamy cheese with crisp crackers (those tasted especially good — my husband is a fan of that combination), sweet fruit with salty bites, and something crunchy for balance.

INGREDIENTS:
These are examples of ingredients you can use:
Cheeses: soft cheese like Camembert or Brie, harder ones like Provolone, an aged Cheddar, maybe some Grana Padano or Parmigiano Reggiano, goat cheese, some hard Feta perhaps.
I used our traditional Polish goat cheese — Oscypek — semi-hard Provolone (one spicy with chilli and olives and one mild with a touch of herbs), Camembert and lastly, Brie.
Meats: thin prosciutto, salami slices.
I used salami and smoked ham.
Fruit & sweet touches: grapes, figs, honey or jam.
I chose grapes, strawberries, and mirabelle plum jam that my aunt made for us — my family absolutely loves it.
Crunchy bits: nuts, artisan bread, crackers.
Of course, crackers are one of the most important ingredients that I could not forget. I added three types of salty crackers, some sweet biscuits, and pistachio nuts.
Scatter things gently. I love when my dishes are served beautifully, so I tried to keep symmetry and an interesting shape. But you don’t have to be so neat — your guests will appreciate that you tried.

Add Natural Elements
Bring in sprigs of rosemary, fresh figs, or little berries. Use florals or foliage from your garden to fill the gaps. These touches make the board feel organic, intentional, and full of life. I just couldn’t fit anything more on my plate.
Style Around It
Put some candles nearby, add your favorite napkins. Choose bowls or jars you already love to hold olives or nuts. I added some whole-grain French mustard and mirabelle plum jam on the side. Let leftover fruit slices or petals wander off the board slightly — that little imperfection makes the display feel more real and welcoming. Styling around your charcuterie board makes your guests feel appreciated. Even a simple dish like that feels like a big party with a little bit of decorating.

Pair with a Drink
Serve wine, sparkling water, or apple cider with rosemary — something that feels special and can turn an ordinary evening into an unforgettable experience.
Enjoy Slowly
Slow down and enjoy the moment. Dinner is not about rushing — sit, nibble, share, and enjoy the talk with your friends. It’s the perfect course for a movie night or a last-minute birthday party. The moments you create around your dish are what matters the most.

I hope you have a great time making it and being with your loved ones.
Sincerely,
Ana
