Become an artist!
Hello, Today I would like to share with you exciting news!
I am organizing a contest for the dream table!

I believe everyone can be an artist and that table setting is an artform in itself. Carrying for every little detail makes a big diffrence.
Life can seem chectic and chaotic these days. Did you ever thought : "I don't have time to set the table?" Or feel that you are just to tired to do this?
If you nodded yes - you are not alone. I thought that too, but one time I decided to download an app that controls my time on the phone, and when I saw how much time I was wasting just staring at the screen, I noticed that I had time, but I chose to do something more unproductive. I thought - this has to stop, and I thought about the things that I can do to change it, which you will find out when you continue reading.

That's why I encourage you to set the table more often, and try your chances in the contest - you can win a prize worth 1000 zł - about 230 EUR - and spend more time with your family and friends. What do you have to lose?
I will give you a few pieces of advice on how to encourage your family and friends to spend more time together:
- Set the table as often as you can—you don't need a special occasion. Even the beautiful peonies blooming in your garden can be the perfect excuse to create a stunning tablescape. Don't wait until the weekend. Even the simplest spaghetti tastes better when served on a beautiful plate.

-
Include natural elements. Fresh flowers and greenery bring a sense of calm, beauty, and quiet joy to the table.

- Use fruit. Fruit can be both a beautiful decorative element and a delicious, juicy dessert.
- Add a personal touch. A favorite sweet treat or a little note with an inside joke can be a thoughtful detail that makes mealtime more enjoyable for everyone at home.
- Put your phone away. Even having it nearby can create a sense of tension and the urge to check it. It's best to leave it in another room while you enjoy your meal.

- Think about the mood - candles bring a soft and pleasant light, and people just love to stare at and watch the fire.

- Add layers - add a tablecloth, placemats, plates, and napkins - this makes your table feel more thoughtful.

- Mix textures - wood, raffia, linen, and cotton. Adding all of those gives your table a designer look. Try to use materials that are pleasant to the touch.
- Add figurines or funny accents that bring playfulness and give your guests something to think about.

- Use your nice china - even simple spaghetti tastes better on a beautiful plate.
- In your free time, think about topics of discussion, and write them down so you don't forget them.
- Find a few games that you could play with your family - for example, charades.

- Accent every place setting with a small flower bouquet or a favorite fruit.
- Music - use soft and pleasant music that does not disturb the conversation but brightens the mood.
- Add cushions to the chairs to make your guests' seats as comfortable as you can.
- Think about the weather - in winter, have a basket full of blankets nearby, and in the summer, have an electric fan (you can buy traditional fans - just for fun :) ) and ice ready in the fridge.

As you can see, it's not that hard. I encourage you to give it a try and send us a picture at ana@anavictoriahome.com.
